In my role as an Account Executive Intern I learned all about the mortgage banking industry and the several factors that go into buying a home. I attended a two-week program at the companies headquarters that educated us on the company and the industry. From school I then worked on analyzing competitors, comparing business models, and putting together marketing campaigns.

My internship this past summer was in the purchasing department of Consigli Construction Co., I worked with subcontract administration to review and process all legal documents for subcontractors so that they could be allowed to work on the job site. This was a valuable experience that taught  me how to work in a professional setting, and broadened my vision of the construction field.

In my position as Social Media Manager for UDance I control our Twitter and LinkedIn accounts and all content that is distributed through these outlets. I manage a Twitter account with over 3,200 followers and a new LinkedIn account that has grown to over 170 followers within the first month. With these accounts I work with our public relations team to develop effective social media campaigns and enhance our public image.

As the head of recruitment for my fraternity at the University of Delaware it is my sole responsibility to plan events, have a working knowledge of potential new members, and manage deliberations with all current members. This position also relies heavily on social networking, as each semester we have around 200 potential new members that seek to join our fraternity.
